ED: the Prosthetic Solution with Cody Whitfield
In today’s episode, I’m excited to share my interview with Cody Whitfield. He is the owner of Choice Designs Pro. He makes prosthetic penises for transmen, prosthetic vulvas for transwomen, and he also makes a prosthetic sleeve that fits over an existing penis. I wanted to share this option because chances are your HCP isn’t telling you about this and even if you do know a thing or two about strap-on phallic objects, there is a lot you don’t know about prosthetic penis technology today.
The products are shockingly realistic and in this episode you are going to hear all about how they are made, attached, and used on a daily basis. The benefit of a prosthetic sleeve for someone who has a penis is that it is non-invasive, you don’t have to take drugs, or inject drugs into your penis, you don’t need surgery, and you don’t have to pump up your penis to get an erection that lasts anywhere from 10-30 minutes.
The X1000 is a tool you can use if your penis is not getting or staying erect enough for penetration. If you are having genital pain or hypersensitivity from damage to your nerves, this sleeve will protect your skin and ease some of that pain. But- it is thin enough that you will feel penetration or suction when you are wearing it.
These guys know what they are doing when they produce these prosthetics. When you attach one of these sleeves, you will have a completely erect or semi erect penis depending on what you order. This erection lasts until you take the sleeve off and if you want to leave it on for a couple of days, that’s an option too.
I know that cis-gendered men are likely to struggle with the idea of using a prosthetic device like this but I want you to listen to this interview, and come to the live zoom Q&A so that you can actually see what the devices look like and learn how they are attached.
I’d also like you to stop for just a moment and think about the fact that the practice of altering one’s body to feel better about yourself sexually, or to please a sexual partner is extremely commonplace. If your partner wanted to get surgery to enhance the size of their breasts, would you enjoy this update? If she wanted to get labiaplasty to change the appearance of her vulva, would you have a problem with that? If the surgeon offered to place an “extra stitch” in her vaginal canal to “tighten things up a bit”, would you think that was a great idea? These are things that women do to their bodies every single day and it is SURGERY! I encourage you to sit with this for a few moments and think about this cultural idea that a penis owner shouldn’t have to augment their genitals but it’s perfectly fine for a vulva-owning person to go to this effort. Just another perspective folx.
If you are having trouble getting or keeping an erection, if you want to change this and you have not had success with any other options, why would you NOT try this? It’s not even surgery and, as cody says, you can turn your ED into BDE.
Try thinking about it like THAT. Not just a solution for ED but just for fun. Changing the size, look, shape, or color of your penis just to shake things up a bit. Think outside the box.
